Our Services

Outside the Square Psychology is a fee-for-service private psychology practice working with neuroptypical and neuro-diverse children, adolescents and young adults, and offers assessment, diagnosis and ongoing counselling support, behaviour intervention, and parent support. Across COVID-19 we introduced telehealth support, and will continue this into the future. This provides a convenient way to reduce travel time and costs, and also enables children to have sessions at school to minimise the time taken out of learning to be transported to and from appointments.

How can a psychologist help?

The word ‘Psychology’ means ‘Knowledge of the Mind’. Our psychologists are particularly concerned with developmental and educational psychology. That is, the
knowledge of typical childhood development, and how individuals think, learn and make sense of their world. We recognise that individuals with a diagnosis of neurodiversity (developmental, social, or behavioural differences) think and learn differently, and approach supporting our clients with this in mind.
