Welcome to Outside the Square Psychology
Outside the Square Psychology is a fee-for-service psychology practice in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs. We are also provide outreach services to Traralgon (in the Latrobe Valley) each Thursday and Friday at Latrobe Medical Centre.
We provide services specifically for those who think outside the square. This includes (but is not limited to) children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Autism Asperger Syndrome, PDD-NOS) Developmental Delay, and Intellectual Disability. We also see toddlers to young adults with anxiety, and parents wanting behaviour management advice for typical children.
NEW: Administration of IQ tests via iPAD. We can now administer the WISC-IV for ages 6 to 16 years, and the WAIS-V for ages 17 to 90 years.
Our services also include counselling, assessment, intervention, an anxiety program, parent education about ASD, professional development, and workshops.
We offer parent information and support programs to parents whose children have recently received a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Medicare rebates, or full funding of the sessions through FaHCSIA is available in certain circumstances.
For your convenience, EFTPOS and Credit Card facilities are available. A Mediclear terminal is also available to enable your Medicare rebate to be automatically credited back to your account at the time of payment.
